Our new children

Our new children have settled really well.  They have all been busy learning new routines and finding out what learning they like to do.  Here are some pictures of their first week's learning...

Colour Monster Learning Overview

The Colour Monster

We have started learning about feelings and emotions using the story 'The Colour Monster' by Anna Llenas.

This week the children have learnt about... 

Happiness

Sadness

Anger

In the story the colour monster is yellow when he feels happy, blue when he feels sad and red when he feels angry.

The children have explored the colours yellow, blue and red inside the classroom and in the outdoor learning environment.  Group time learning has also been about what we and others might look and feel like when we are happy, sad and angry.
