_____________________________________________________________________________
The Nursery school is open for all children.
Although the number of Positive Covid-19 cases remains high across the local community we have made the decision to gradually reopen to all children.
Please call the main office if your child has not been accessing Nursery but you would like them to return to school.
I understand that anxiety and parental concern remains very high therefore if you feel that you would prefer to keep your child safe at home please let us know. The class teachers will continue to offer full access to the home learning activities.
Please continue to let us know if your child is unwell or if any members of your household test positive for Covid-19 or have been asked to self-isolate.
As the rate of transmission from one adult to another is very high and our area outside nursery is very small, we will insist on the following:
- Only one parent to drop off or collect (please leave other children at home if possible)
- All parents/ adults must wear face masks/face coverings at drop off and collection times. ( if you have an exemption card please collect when the waiting area is quiet)
- You must wait in the designated zone for your class.
- You may collect your child between 11.15 and 11.45 / 3.15 and 3.45. This has been extended to ensure that we do not have a build-up of parents waiting outside.
- Please be respectful of others and wait outside the main gate or in your vehicle until some of the waiting parents have left.
We will continue to monitor our risk assessments so that we are able ensure school is safe for all children, staff and families.
We thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during these challenging times.

HEADTEACHER'S WELCOME
Bradley Nursery School
Building firm foundations for families futures, working together to educate children.
Welcome to Bradley Nursery School. We hope you find our website easy to use and enjoy finding out about our nursery school and the provision that we offer.
Bradley Nursery School is a well established and respected nursery school which lies at the heart of the community and has served the families of Nelson for over eighty years.
At Bradley Nursery School safe and stimulating, high quality provision is offered for all pupils aged from 2-4 years. Here they can follow their own interests and explore their own lines of enquiry, alongside caring and knowledgeable adults who support their learning. At Bradley we also recognise that you, the parents/carers are the child’s first educators and aim to work closely with families to give our children those firm foundations for learning and the best possible start to their education, building on those early experiences gained at home.
Please contact the office if you require any further information or paper copies of documents on our website.
We look forward to working with you in the future.
Best Wishes
