Culture and Heritage Week
(15th – 19th June)
This is a special week to celebrate the different cultures we have as part of our school community.
During the week of 15th June, we want to look at the different foods, clothes, music, dance, special artefacts, photographs, books and stories that are part of the different heritages of our families.
Are you able to help us by bringing something in that you could share with your child’s class that could help them to develop an increased awareness of the different cultures amongst our friends?
If you think you can help us, please ask to speak to your child’s class teacher.
I’m sure we can make it a very exciting, informative week of learning for the children.
We look forward to speaking with you.
We will be spending the week experiencing different aspects of culture and family heritage.
On Monday, we will be focusing on Cultural Dance with Dance Days workshops
On Tuesday, we will be celebrating Traditional clothes and foods
On Wednesday, Cultural stories - we would love parents to come and share a story in your home language.
Thursday + Friday - Craft and culture
Parents meetings and reports
Children that are leaving to go up to Primary school or moving to a new nursery class will receive n end of year report. The report will be shared at the end of year parents meeting.
Meeting dates will be released closer to the time.
Questionnaires
Each year we ask parents to complete a nursery questionnaire about their child’s experience in nursery. This helps us to continue to improve our offer. Questionnaires will be sent out with your child’s report - Please return completed questionnaires to the main office – thank you :)
Sports Activity Day – Thursday 9th July (weather permitting)
This is an opportunity for our children to have fun whilst participating in outdoor activities and games sessions. Children must wear clothes suitable for sports activities, ie shorts or leggings and flat pumps or trainers.

This is a popular event that parents enjoy attending – we therefore have to limit parent numbers to 2 places per family.
Timings are:
9.15 – 10am/1pm – 1.45pm - Yellow Nursery
10.15-11.15/2pm-3pm - Green + Blue Nursery

The children’s last day in Nursery is Friday 17th July. School will close after session. All of our Bradley team would like to thank you for your support and engagement, and all of your children for being their amazingly positive selves. We will miss all the children that will be moving on to their new schools but hope they will come and visit in September to show us their new uniforms.
For those children staying with us in September, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer, and we look forward to your return on Wednesday 2nd September.
